West Geauga Junior guard Faelynn Beckrest surpassed the 1,000 career point mark in a 52-34 win over Harvey on Thursday night. Beckrest becomes the third player in school history along with Ashley Bohnic (2002) and Alexa Hocevar (2022-23) to reach the 1,000 point mark. She is the first Junior to reach the mark. She finished the game 13-of-27 from the field with 27 points, 9 steals and 8 rebounds. On the season, she is averaging 22.2 points per game.
