West Geauga High School

The West Geauga Girls and Boys Track teams will be well represented at the OHSAA Regional Meet on Thursday, May 28 at Austintown Fitch. On the girls side, Kara Deister qualified in the High Jump, Long Jump, 100 Hurdles and 300 Hurdles. Brianna Farmer qualified in the 100m dash. The 4x200 relay team of Grace Boehnlein, Rachel Mason, Samiah Dexter and Jade Alvord qualified in addition to the 4x100 relay team of Molly McNamara, Ila Carson, Boehnlein and Farmer. In the 400, Jade Alvord qualified along with Lia Alvord in the 800. The 4x400 relay team of Jade Alvord, Mason, Dexter and Lia Alvord also advanced. On the boys side, the 4x800 team of Joey Lubanovich, Jacob Williams, Mason Starr and Ian Res qualified. Res and Williams both qualified in their individual events of the 1600m and the 800m.
