West Geauga High School

The West Geauga High School Track & Field team will be well represented at the OHSAA State Track and Field Meet this week in Columbus. Kara Deister qualified in four events after winning the Regional Title in the Long Jump. She also qualified in the High Jump, 100HH and the 300H. Ian Res won the Regional Title in the 1600m and Jacob Williams qualified in the 800m. Both along with Mason Starr and Joey Lubanovich qualified in the 4x800. The OHSAA State Track and Field Championships will begin on Thursday in Columbus at The Ohio State University. West Geauga will begin competing on Friday with the finals on Saturday evening.
