West Geauga High School

West Geauga High School Junior Ian Res set a new school record and earned All-Ohio Honors after a second place finish in the 1600M run at the OHSAA State Track & Field Championships. Res, who also qualified as part of the 4x800 relay team, weathered a lengthy delay due to storms in the Columbus area before finally getting to take to the track at 9:30 PM on Saturday night. His time also broke the school record previously held by Daniel Kearns (OHSAA State Champion/3200M).
