The West Geauga High School Girls Varsity Soccer team picked up a 3-0 shutout road win over Kirtland on Tuesday evening. The Wolverines scored their first goal of the night at the 29:58 mark of the first half when Senior Amelia Zaiffro found fellow Senior Faelynn Beckrest to make it 1-0. In the second half, Beckrest scored her second goal of the game at the 52:50 mark to make it 2-0 and then dished out an assist to Brooklyn Osolin who scored her second goal of the season to make it 3-0. Goalkeeper Morgan Demaske saved all three shots she faced. The Wolverines JV team picked up a 2-0 win to even their record at 1-1 on the season. West Geauga will travel to Berkshire on Thursday to take on the Badgers. JV will begin at 5pm with Varsity to follow at 7pm.
