West Geauga High School

The West Geauga High School volleyball team bounced back after a tough five-set loss on Wednesday night to defeat visiting Geneva on Thursday. The Wolverines dropped the first set 25-19 but then responded by winning the next three 25-12, 25-21 and 25-21. Ella Grill led the Wolverines with 13 kills and Joelle Insana added 10 to go along with 18 digs. Anna Grill picked up eight kills while Kelsie Fink added seven kills and four blocks. Olivia Penzenik added 17 digs and Kiera Schaab picked up 35 assists. West Geauga will be home on Monday to host Lutheran West. Freshmen and JV will start at 5pm with Varsity to follow.
